1. Terms

Welcome to Skycards, the real-world mobile game developed and operated by Flightradar24 AB (Kungsgatan 12 9 TR, 111 35 Stockholm, Sweden). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Skycards mobile application (the “App”) and any other products, services, or events provided by Flightradar24 (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing and using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services. Flightradar24 AB may modify these Terms at any time by posting the modified version on the App or its website. Your continued use of the Services after the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

2. Privacy

To provide the Services, Flightradar24 collects and processes certain personal data. Please review Flightradar24’s updated Privacy Policy, effective July 15, 2024, to understand how your data is collected, used, and protected.

3. Use of the Services

3.1 Cheating

Flightradar24 prohibits cheating and any activity that alters or interferes with the normal functioning of Skycards. Cheating includes, but is not limited to:

  • Accessing the Services using unauthorized or modified third-party software
  • Using multiple accounts for the same Service
  • Sharing accounts
  • Manipulating a device’s GPS location
  • Selling or trading accounts

Flightradar24 reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in cheating or fraudulent activities.

3.2 Safe and Appropriate Use

When using Skycards, remain aware of your surroundings and ensure safe gameplay. Flightradar24 is not responsible for injuries or accidents that occur while using the Services. Always comply with local laws and regulations.

3.3 Interactions with Other Users

You are responsible for maintaining respectful interactions with other players. Do not harass or violate the rights of others, trespass on private property, or engage in behavior that could result in injury or damage.

4. Limited License to Use

Flightradar24 grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download and use the Skycards App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, modify, or make the App available to others in any unauthorized manner.

5. Content and Content Rights

5.1 Content Ownership

Flightradar24 and its licensors own all rights to the Skycards App, content, and Services, including any images, text, and other media. User-generated content that you submit to Flightradar24 grants us a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, and display that content for operational or promotional purposes.

5.2 Virtual Goods and Trading

Skycards allows users to collect and trade virtual goods, such as aircraft cards. These virtual goods have no real-world monetary value and cannot be traded or sold outside of the game. Flightradar24 reserves the right to modify or remove virtual items as needed.

6. Conduct, General Prohibitions, and Enforcement Rights

While using the Services, you agree not to:

  • Collect personal information from other users without their consent
  • Use the Services for any commercial purposes without express permission
  • Engage in any behavior that disrupts or interferes with the normal operation of the Services

Flightradar24 reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate actions against users who violate these Terms, including suspension or termination of accounts.

7. Participation in Events

Flightradar24 may host in-person or virtual events for Skycards players . Participation in these events may be subject to specific rules or conditions. By attending an event, you agree to comply with all event-related policies.

8. Beta Programs

Flightradar24 may provide early access to beta versions of Skycards. By participating in a beta program, you agree to provide feedback and understand that the software may contain bugs or errors.

9. Third-Party Websites or Resources

The Services may link to third-party websites or resources. Flightradar24 is not responsible for the content or services provided by third-party resources and does not endorse or guarantee their accuracy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and without any warranties or guarantees, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Flightradar24 does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flightradar24 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services.

12. Arbitration Agreement

For users in certain jurisdictions, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration. You waive your right to a jury trial or class action in most cases. Exceptions apply where arbitration is not allowed by law.

13. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Flightradar24 regarding your use of the Services. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.

14. Terms Specific to Residents of the European Economic Area (EEA)

If you are a resident of the EEA, consumer protection laws may provide you with additional rights, such as withdrawal from certain purchases. Flightradar24 will comply with applicable refund and withdrawal laws.

15. Terms Specific to Residents of Germany

Liability for damages caused by minor negligence is limited to damages foreseeable at the time the contract was formed and typical of the type of contract.

16. Terms Specific to Residents of Indonesia

Residents of Indonesia agree to waive any legal requirements that would otherwise require judicial approval for the termination of these Terms.
